About me
As a therapist, my goal is to help you, by providing a safe space for us to connect, relax, and process your feelings.
My name is Jamie Worthington, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who lives in Redmond, Oregon. I was born and raised in Alaska, and I am blessed to be living in this beautiful state of Oregon. I am married to a wonderful man from Kenya, a mom to a wonderful 11-year-old boy, and also a doggy-mom to a corgi named Hannah Banana Montana.
If you are struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, and/or maybe just searching for a purpose in life? I can help! I see clients via telehealth. (We will make it very comfortable and normal- even if the computer might feel a little awkward at first- we got this!) Oregonians are so wonderful and kind, and I truly look forward to meeting you!
I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno. I have degrees in Gerontology and Public Health Sciences. My goal is to help you become exactly who you want to be, no matter your age! It is time for you to live your life!
I love using the lemonade analogy because it is such a relatable phenomenon- Take the sour times, add some sugar, and WALAH! It is never too late to enjoy a glass of lemonade. I look forward to meeting you!
